FAIRIES

Fairies are a continuation of the nymphs. They descended from the fairy-tale world into the real one. In the beginning, my fairy was black, mysterious, with eyes covered. It was imprinted on my subconscious mind when I was watching the alien black silhouettes of the women in the monastery through the veiled windows of my school. Not until later did I unravel the origin of fairies. But this black fairy, which was never a symbol of evil, was changing. Her new image was one of the real, material world. That is how I saw and experienced them. I was feverishly looking for an ideal, my ideal of beauty and perfection.
